Papo Allosaurus

Papo - Allosaurus

Articulated jaw really opens and closes!

Papo Allosaurus -The word "Allosaurus" means "different lizard". The Allosaurus was a large predator dinosaur that walked on its hind legs. It's three-fingered upper arms were small and weak relative to its powerful hind legs. Its skull was large and equipped with dozens of sharp, serrated teeth. Its body was balanced by a long and heavily muscled tail. Allosaurus was a typical large theropod, having a massive skull on a short neck, a long, slightly sloping tail, and reduced forelimbs. Allosaurus fragilis, the best-known species, had an average length of 28 ft, with the largest definitive Allosaurus specimen (AMNH 680) estimated at 32 feet long, with an estimated weight of 2.3 tons.

The Papo Allosaurus has been painstakingly hand-painted, with an extraordinary amount of detail being sculpted and painted. It features a hinged lower jaw, allowing the mouth to be open and closed.

This particular Allosaurus is a color variation on the original figure by Papo.

The Papo Allosaurus measures approximately in inches:
10 L x 4 H.
